Projects successfully completed by Herman van der Mast and BD Pool Services:

• Emperors Palace Casino & Hotel Complex (2000) - All the waterproofing, tiling and finishing plaster to the four water-features as well as the hotel pool. The largest feature is ±1500m² and the hotel pool ±900m².

• Rand Merchant Bank (Johannesburg (1994 – 1999) - The design & supply contracts for both the structural and the reticulation/filtration aspects, comprising a ± 400m² bio-filtered feature, a ± 650m² feature with a 30m long rimflow sealed with Sikadur-Combiflex system and a 42m long by ± 2m high cascade feature

• Private House,Johannesburg (2009) - This comprises a 1000m² ‘River’ and 100m² flush-deck pool with Summer Place Spa in it.

• Sheraton Hotel, Pretoria (1998) - Waterproofing & finishing off of the swimming pool on the third-floor of the hotel

• Hilton Hotel, Sandton (1999) - Designed & constructed the new ±350m² swimming pool

• Trish Wilson @ Wilson and Associates Architects (1996) - Pool for “Izingwe Lodge” at Welgevonden Game Farm, Vaalwater.

• The River Grand Lodge, Zambezi river (2012) - PMTP Developers, Lusaka, Zambia. Pool with 4,5m x 1,5m Window for the front wall.

• House Clarke, Hilton Estate, Pietermaritzburg CC Architect (2014) - 15m rim-flow pool fully tiled

• Silver Star – Soulstice Spa pools (2008)

• SR Nicholas Limited, Zambia (1996) Mfuwe Lodge – Design and supply the reticulation & filtration system for the 100m² pool & rim-flow edge

• The Regent Apartment Hotel (2011) and The Claridges (2011) - Design & installation of the hydraulic reticulation & filtration system for the water-features

• ADIL Waterworld (Maputo) (2010) - Three ±120m² slide-pools, A ±980m² Lazy-River, ±900m² Main pool & a ±750m² central water-feature

• Houghton Primary School (2008) - Pool refurbishment / upgrade for a 350m³ pool

• Jeppe Girls High School (2009) - Making smaller (to 25m) of pool and refurbishment of the pool

• Brescia House School (2010) - Refurbishment of the three pools – Tiling & pool-plaster

• The Ridge School (2010 & 2011) - Refurbishment of three pools- Tiling & pool-plaster & fibreglass

• Veritas College (2010 & 2013) - New filtration system & fibreglass lining for the pool

• Deutsche Schule (Pta) (2011) - Refurbishment of the 25 x 20m pool -Tiling and paving

• Assumption Convent (2013) - Fibreglass lining of the pool

• Grayston Preparatory (2013) - Refurbishment of the pool – Tiling, New filtration system & paving

• St Stithians College (2013) - Refurbishment of the Short-course (25 x 18m) pool

• St Catherine’s (Florida) (2012) - Refurbishment of the pool – Tiling, pool-plaster, paving & filtration

• St Mary’s School (2012 – 2014) - Refurbishment with a PVC lining & new piping of the Olympic pool

• Kingsmead College (2014) - Tiling of Dive pool (25m x 20m pool).

• King David Schools (2014) - Refurbishment of the short-course pools for the three Jhb based schools

• St John’s College (2010 – 2014) - New filtration system for Longwalk pool (2011) and repair work to the tiling of the Polo pool and Longwalk pools (2014).

• St Andrew’s School (2013 & 2014) - Dive pool – New diving board bases & installation of springboards. Main pool – Found & sealed structural leaks & made good tiling in pool.

• St David’s Marist New filtration system manifold

• Reddam House Bedfordview - New filtration system manifold

• Franklin D Roosevelt Primary Re-plastering - Poolcrete pool plaster & tiling of the 25 x 13m pool

• St Teresa’s, Rosebank (2014) - Tiling of the 25 x 14m pool

• Jeppe High School for Boys (2016) - Tiling of 25 x 21m water polo pool @ a new 25 x 5m training pool

• University of Johannesburg (2015) - New 100m² hydrotherapy pool for the Biokinetic Centre

• Laerskool Jan Celliers (2016) - New 25 x 16.5m main pool

• Reddam House Waterfall (2016) - New Olympic (50 x 25m) swimming pool

• Reddford The Hills & Blue Hills - A new 30 x 25m multi-purpose swimming pool at each school

• Marist Brothers Linmeyer - New 25 x 5.5m indoor pool, fully tiled

• St David’s Marist, Sandton - New 33 x 25m Water- polo pool

• St Andrew’s School for Girls, Senderwood - Rebuild & upgrade of a 25 x 20m indoor pool
